How to add texts to gifs:
- Make sure you have the first frame selected.
- Make sure you’re positioned above all your layers in the layers window.
- Select the text tool.
- Type your text.
- Position your text where you want it with the move tool.
- Save for Web & Devices
That should do it! When I was first learning, the hardest part was remembering to have the first frame selected. If you don’t have the first frame selected, when you try to position the text, it will be in a different location for each frame. So just remember that and you should be fine.
how do you add text to gifs? i made a gif in photoshop and then i went to put the text on it in Adobe ImageReady and it shows up fine but when i go to preview it on google chrome and internet explorer it shows up as a different color.. the gif is fine but not the color of the font.. what should i do?
